1. Young Adult Summer Hangouts:  In the summer months, while our youth group is taking a break, our Young Adults will have TGIF at Arise every Friday starting June 6. Doors open 7:30pm. Dinner will be provided, and we will have a different activity each week. College students and young adults are welcome, including our incoming college freshmen, or any of you almost-college. Friends welcome. Contact Wood or Victoria for more information.

2. Arise Summer Classes:  For children currently in grades K-6. Parents are encouraged to sign up for their kids and invite the children of relatives and friends to participate. Events and dates:

1) Cooking 7/12

2) Cokking 7/26

3) Polymer Clay Art 8/2

4) K-pop dancing 8/9

5) K-pop dancing 8/16

Time: Saturday 6:30 - 8:30 pm

Fee: $10 each class per kid of your choice of class(es).

3. Community Services in August: The Missional Department sincerely invites you to participate in the community services in August:

1) Can food drive: 8/3-8/17 You can bring the following canned food to the church and place them in the Cafe collection bin - meat-based, ready to eat, and not expired, pull ring (No need to use a can opener)

2) Food Bank Volunteer：8/23 Saturday: 9 am -12 pm - San Jose Sacred Heart Food Bank, please sign up at the back. Children above 10 years old and high school students are welcome. We have 12 spots.

4. Sponsoring children: Arise children's and Youth Ministries have sponsored two African children for many years: Kena from Ethiopia and Mugabo from Rwanda, with a monthly sponsorship fee of $43 per child. We encourage parents, youth and children to actively participate in supporting the sponsorship fees.
